Coronavirus Impacts on Shipping Worldwide

Update 7/31/2020 -

Currently we are not experiencing a backlog and orders are expected to ship within 1-2 business days (Monday - Friday).

Thank you for your interest in my Ender Extender kits!  Supply levels fluctuate depending on demand and availability, and sometimes my products will go into Back Order status.  What does this mean exactly?

Typically, when I place an order for the aluminum extrusions, it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive.  With the current Coronavirus problem around the world, resupply times are taking longer.  Although most of my supplies are sourced from the USA (OpenBuilds, Digikey, AFT Fasteners, Amazon), we are all under the same restrictions and things are taking longer.

How does the Covid-19 situation impact you?

As we source parts and materials from around the world, there are many steps in the supply chain that are being negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.  These vary depending on the part/material, but in a nutshell you have the supplier / manufacturer, their shipping department, the freight forwarding company, the exit port and logistics, the shipping company, the entry port and logistics, and the final ground shipping to our warehouse in Texas, USA.  There can be delays in each of these steps.

You can be sure that by placing your order, you are putting your name in a specific place in the queue.  I will email you periodically with updates.

You could also choose to wait until you see stock levels return, and place your order, however, I will fulfill orders on a first-come, first-served basis.
